2. How to plan, write and edit persuasive texts in the time allowed (20-30 minutes for scholarship/selective high school test)
3. How to structure paragraphs using the TEEL/PEEL/PETAL method
4. How to elaborate on points and to back each point up with evidence and examples
5. How to effectively use an array of persuasive devices, adjectives, adverbs, as well as accurate punctuation, grammar and spelling.
6. How to transfer the structure and skills used in the most widely assessed writing genres – persuasive and narrative texts – to create hybrid texts such as descriptions, newspaper articles, diary entries, advice sheets, letters and emails.
